I'm just curious, but how the fuck can you have a loaf of toast?

thembuzz
27th January 2005, 14:50
you toast a loaf, don't you?

Lighter Thief
27th January 2005, 14:52
Yes. But you generally do it in small stages and then I for one tend to *eat* the toast whilst it's hot rather than placing it in my fridge.

depends how big your toaster is. and i know i couldn't get through a loaf of toast in one sitting so i reckon i'd stick some of it in the fridge, too. you can always warm it up in the microwave

i think there is an inter-european cultural misunderstanding about toast and what toast is.

bread cannot be toast until it is toasted, either in a toaster or under a grill or in a toasted sandwich maker.

anything else that purports to be toast, as in crispbreads etc, just is not toast im afraid.

For almost a minute longer, maybe two for thick stuff, you can have fresh hot toast instead of damp rubber.
