If it is supposed to be a sampler, it had better not be using Smartmedia as the storage medium. If it is, then it is most surely a phrase sampler, and not something to compete with an MPC or RS7k. Kind of MC-09 + MC-505 together... any bet?

You want to hear the story behind this?

Back in the day, when I was a lot more unsavory than I am now, I used to live with a bunch of guys with a sound system, who used to take far too much Amphetamines for comfort... they used to stay up for days on end and just completley lose the plot.. For the benefit of non UK residents, here in the UK, on a sunday, we have what's known as "Car Boot Sales" where people sell all their old junk, and we had taken to going to one that was held up the road from the travellers site we lived on after we'd done a party (We used to do parties outdoors, live in trucks and busses etc etc), and generally making a nuisanse of ourselves. on this particular occation, the guy who owned the van, went AWOL, and we wanted to go back to the travellers site , which was only 2km up the road... So we just drove his van back.. the guy had bought the 303 for all of us on his credit card (Which he never paid off), kinda in the community spirit and all that, anyway, he appears about 3 hours later, totally pissed off, wired to fuck because of all the speed he's been taking, grabs a spade, throws the 303 outside, and starts hitting it with the spade!!! thus broken 303....

This 303 actually appeared on the first ever Uglyfunk flyer, and now resides in leicester on JE5's living room wall....

When are roland gonna learn:

Start making the 909 and the 808 again

OR

Come up with something really new and different, their kit always seems to have a real toy like quality to it... that's what I like about my Nord, it's got that chunky metal feel to it....

groovecrap thats for sure.....had one once and problems,problems,problems.... ....i woundnt buy roland for a while.
