i ve never been sea fishing.
its all about fresh water fishing for me.
and if you go fishing for more than just one night, lets say two or three days you'll need a bite indicator ;)
fishing is life the rest is just details :p

oh i also do fish on pike and zander :)
just not that often as i fish on carp.....carp fishing is most relaxing when you are out for a couple of days.
and i am really gutted that they destroyed the best zander lake near me.......grr.....the average size used to be 70-80cm at that lake (naja eher teich und nicht see).

over 70 cm!?
i life on the coast (ostsee) at the one side, at the other side is the "bodden" (mixery of salt and clear water). so in the "zingster strom" the average size of zander is just about 40-60 cm
