Nicotine is porbably the most widely used Linux client. It's written in Python and as a result, it can be a wee bit slow. Having said that, it's done me no wrong. From what I've heard, I believe devlopment on it has ceased with people turning their efforts to Museek.

Museek is the newer alternative written by the same guy. It's a binary as well so should run a little faster. (See http://museek.thegraveyard.org/ ) It's still very much in devlopment and I haven't tried it out yet.

Anyone on here used it?

If its not on your list try to create the room 'erutufon' and it will join you to the existing room.

a friend who has "dialup" internet connection told me about this. she said it's faster but the selectrion of the tracks is very small. most of what she is looking for she can't find. as soon as she got broadband she'll instal slsk... that is what i've heard
