@Namshub

What's the clubbin' like down your way ? Reason I'm asking is in a couple of weeks me and my girlfriend are off around the world for a couple of months and we'll be spending about 5/6 weeks in Oz.

We'll be meeting up with Mr Forshaw in Sydney for a mad one while he does his live thang but is there anywhere else that's any good especially in Sydney/ Melbourne/ Cairns (and erm, what's the situation like on pills and stuff ...)

@ namshub...of course SPK is remembered around here, although I really only know the "Leichenschrei"-LP and the "System Planning Korporations"-LP, when they were still rough industrial. Sometimes it's really good to hear that old noise.

That'd probably be David Icke. He's a crazy man.

@Aleks...

Cheers for that mate, if I'm in the Brunswick area I'll have a look for the bar .... problem with me is that once I'm in a bar I tend to stay there... and apparently there's a couple of sights to see in Australia.... a big red rock in the middle or summat and some reef with a couple of fish on it in the sea....or something like that.

When you say pills are expensive, what price we talking about (and are they any good ?)

"In the City of God there will be a great thunder,
Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures,

Not one of these tailored for disaster, apply where appropriate style postings on the net. Did you catch a glimpse of some of the others alleged to be by Nostradamus? It was sorta like...

"The big metal birds will fly,
and large financial building will be in the way
the same again please, barman
holy shit world war 3"

or to that effect anyway...:)

jamyna
12th September 2002, 11:26
Poppycock.
Nostradamus couldn't predict his way out of an episode of Eastenders.
Talking of war, isn't it about time we had another one? Oh yes, that will just sort everything out im sure. It's about time these "rogue nations" learned the West's exploitation of the rest of the world is necessary for sustaining oil industry growth and burger bars.

That is fucking expensive mate !! I haven't paid that price since 1992 ! I wouldn't mind if they were as good as they were back then, but they most certainly are not.

Cheers for letting me know though mate...

horrible day -yesterday.

but late at night (2am) there was in fact a tv-report worth watching. with politicians and even intelligence officers saying a bit more than in the news. even the fact, that dubya first said - after flight 93 had been down - that this was a horrible decision for him. of cause later was said how happy people were as they were told the passengers had stopped the plane and not the f16 seen behind the plane...

remembering a horrible day but more than that the horrible days afterwards. and still i'm with my first sentence after the wtc collapsed: watch your civil rights...

interesting this is such a point of amusement for everyone.

my favorite was the second post. not quite sure what "sick... in a yankee kinda way" means.

i suppose this is all very satisfying to some people.

Basic

What I find amusing is how Dubya bush has managed to coincide the anniversary with his "let's go get the oilfields back" speech. Now who's being irreverent!!

MUX
12th September 2002, 15:05
it was me that posted that.
i'm not pro it all, but i think that's it fuckin insane that the weapons the groundtroops fight back with were actually sold to them by the amercans.

i'm concerned with this religous war thingy.. the americans are fools in my mind for one reason. there main aim is to find bin laden, kill him arrest him whatever.. there spending billions on it...

the war there fighting aint based on one man.. he just portrays a leader.. a focus point.. and a speaker to the ppl. im sure that all desicions are taken by some sort of spin doctors, and bin laden gives them a public image to portray them. killing or arresting this one man.. wont stop them.. it's will probably makes these fanatics ten times more bitter. now what would that equal??

Mercedez Ben
12th September 2002, 15:13
You can't lump the whole mass of America into one George Bush lookin' puddy ball. That muthafucka is as bad as they come. Mosdef an oil man to the core. I believe it's the primary agenda of his administration to procure as much oil power for the people who put him there as possible. Before the end of his horrible singular term that is. But we should respect the dead and grieving regardless of their country. They were INNOCENT!!!

fuckin A.

Mercedez Ben
12th September 2002, 15:18
GW2 will leave office probably the most unpopular president of all time.

by the way, there is no such thing as "the americans." we're too diverse to lumped into a neat little ball like this. are all people from your country 1 thing? is this just some language difficulty or is there really that perception that we're all somehow the same?

MUX
12th September 2002, 15:23
if im was american dying for my country's mistakes.. i hope at least i get sent to heaven.. and that they got Pepsi & 'The Sweetleaf' there!

dont u think that that it clever the way they planned it out? the same 3 three clips reshown & reshown, it total brainwash propganda..
and yesterday on CNN ,they showed all the videos again and again.. more and more brainwash... exactly what the taliban wanted.. terror images being reshown and reshown... Media Propganda 100%

aint it kinda funny that there were actually home video cameras pointing at the WTC when the first plane hit? the second one is understanable .... but the first? hmmm...
it kinda sounds sour to me..

malaclypse
12th September 2002, 15:27
concerning me it isn't anti-americanism. it's pure anti-bushism and anti-cia-fbi-ism.

I don't think people were dissing innocents that died last year, I guess we all become desenstised after so much media spin on such things. I hope that all people on the board feel the same grief, but let's not froget all those who die from terrorism each year. I feel it through the heavy paramilitary activity here in Britain. I stay in Glasgow (Scotland) and for those who don't know, it is a hot bed of bigotry and home to many that act in the name of Irish paramilitary groups (we have a host of safe houses and many activists shelter here). Yeah, the world trade centre tradgedy sucks, but it sucks even more when you look around you and see people you know being disfigured or murdered dependant on whether they are Catholic or Protestant. That is just plain bigotry, but the perpetrators graduate to become gunmen across the water or are actively involved with such terror groups. I can't even start to think how it is in Northern Ireland itself.

What I'm getting at is, terrorism can strike anywhere and the consequences are dire and horrific but when you have so much under your own nose you really have to switch off sometimes.

Hmmm, sorta off topic - I hope you get my drift.

ben, i agree with you about hating all americans getting lumped together. can u imagine how much i have to hear the whole 'i hate americans' speal over in england...which i really don't understand because blair aint any better - he just agrees with whatever bush says.

mux - no i am not suprised that home videos were being shot at the twin towers when the first plane hit. it is a major tourist attraction and thousands and thousands of people went to visit and photographic every day. statistically i bet it was quite normal.

i dunno. the main thing that i kept thinking yesterday was 'wow has it really been a year?!?' mainly a personal reflection on how much my life has changed in the past 12 months.

Basic

Hey, Blair is an embarrassing ass-kissing ytosser. I hate his "let's go where the power is" idealogy. It's just so cowardly.

MUX
12th September 2002, 15:45
then i guess im totally wrong with the video tape bit.
i can ashamely say that i knew the NY skyline, but i had no idea that that was the 'world trade centre'

i think blair is acting like a fool and u english voters should take the words of a famous gay pop star and SHOOT THE DOG... vote the MF out when an election comes...

i kept thinking about hiroshima and nagasaki all day yesterday. that and US-sponsored terrorism all over the globe. quite a hypocracy. i stayed as far away from the tv and radio as possible yesterday. and i work in the periodicals department at a library. all the jingoistic hooplah makes me wanna barf. but hopefully, at least, GW and his oil and military buddies don't get their war.

rant rant rant.
