if anyone's around tonight, listen to radio 3 mixing-it there's a recording of matt herberts "plat du jour" show he did in london this week. i went and it was fucking brilliant.

you should check out the mix cd he did for tresor called 'let's all make mistakes'. really good mix with lots of cool tracks.

the show was 100000000000 miles away from the tresor mix. onstage, there was a chef preparing a meal, being recorded/sampled, 2 guys dressed as waiters playing samples with mouth controllers, a guy playing a drumkit made entirely out of tesco's products, and the man himself sampling/controlling the whole shebang.

Is that the one where he mixes dj deeon into mr oizo? That mix is blinding, used to just cane that one track off the cd for ages.

yeah, it is. that is probably one of the dopest mixes I've heard. highlight of the cd.

Hearing that, it's a wicked cd. Saw him live a coupla years ago at the royal albert hall - the one where he gave everyone free cds he'd specially prepared for the night decaring "burn as many copies as you like and give them to your mates!" It was awesome, shame i'm not around to hear his latest efforts...

Yeah it was very good - best synchronised visuals I've ever seen )purpose made films for each track.
I really liked how unfinished it sounded and that some things weren't quite right yet.

Yea i think i'm going to come down from Glasgow for that 1. Still havent been to a werk party and i can reckon that'll be a good one to start with.

yes, it will be yet again, another great party i'm gonna miss.
This whole america thing just isn't working out for me.
