i got a old ibook 300mhz for free the colored one.. anyone think i can play divx of cd's on it? what software is good and free if so..

would be handy for bed movies..

well, divx lists a mac os version. I can't be sure that OS9 and not 10, but versiontracker seems to suggest theres an OS 9 Client as well.

yeah i had tried that but i only got os8 on it..
i guess downwards doesnt support it..
it aint a new computer, im actually a windows person and got 3 pc's

but it came free, and how can you refuse 'free'

id check if theres a build of vlc for your os, which has the codecs built in. you never know
