what is the most anyone here has paid for a record??
the highest for me is $40 for peter gabriel: passion.
and $50 for an original pressing Slayer: Live Undead picture disc with alternate track listing. other than that it has been $20 for some old Adam X, steve bicknell records, and Bam Bam: where is your child.

once spent about $25 for the Current 93 album 'Faust'
its worth it but i think that probably to most i've ever spent on one record. World Serpent just loves to rip you off with their prices.

$45 for Cocoon recordings #2 , its a great set of Minmal Tec, has some great tracks from Kit Klayton, Dj Rush, Sutehk, steve bug ect.
Six records i think, all red vinyl, boxed set.
BTW The Kit Clayton track and the Steve bug track are off the hook.

I paid £59 (about 95€) for a superrare copy of Radiohead's Amnesiac. Bringing the number of different versions of Amnesiac I own up to 5.
I know, I'm a big fat geek.
I paid £30 (50€ or so) for a copy of Radiohead's early single Pop Is Dead, too.
Geek geek geek.

emma:
mike is involved in so many bands right now it is hard to keep up with them all.
I highly recommend fantomas. that is mike, dave lombardo (slayer), buzz (melvins),
and the bassist from mr bungle (his name escapes me right now).
their last album directors cut is amazing. they covered a bunch of movie scores like the godfather, the omen, rosemary's baby, etc. real killer stuff. I saw mike in tomahawk about a month ago. tomahawk has john stanier (drummer: helmet) and two other guys whose name escapes me again, but I think one of them is also from mr bungle. I got some nice pictures of them in the club. if I can get my hands on a scanner I will post some for all the patton fans.
