i was sorting my cd collection and stumbled over my old crank/lowres cd´s and was wondering if there is something new from him. i know there was a track on the first scape compilation but that´s the last thing i heard from him/her....
can anyone give me a lil update please?

i also haven't heard anything new of him, hopefully he will return with some new smashers soon.

crank "heftibag" is one of my favourite records ever! jazz and electronics on a totally new level, just love it. everyone should own that one!

@amble: heftibag was really cool till my ex-girlfriend destroyed it in an arguement. i have forgiven her...i guess...:) i still haven´t found someone who can burn me a copy....*sniff*

i can burn you a copy if you like.

heres what i found on the plug research site (http://www.plugresearch.com/): there will be a new low res lp called 'blue ramen' coming in october. the review text sounds cool, i think im gonna get me this one.

Kaiten: is he really doing a hundred 7"? are any of them out yet? sounds really weird to me but hey who knows

It does sound incredibly weird, but I think they're completely serious about the Jukebox series. As far as I know, none of them are out yet.

Hello!

Thank you very much for your interest in the Low Res Jukebox Series!

Mr. Res is already busily at work creating music for the first set of twelve
releases, and we are at the same time creating the packaging and arranging
the mechanisms to accept your payment and enroll you as a charter subscriber
to this hysterical/historical program.

Incidentally, each single will come with jukebox directory cards, and will
be shipped using Low Res (Belgian) postal stamps!

We are very excited to present this music, and are grateful for your
interest. This series will by necessity be pressed in very limited
editions, and repressings are very unlikely. Please help us to reach our
goal of putting out 100 releases in this series by encouraging others to
subscribe!

You will be hearing from us very soon with additional details and
instructions to ensure home delivery of your personal copy of the initial
dozen releases.

Again, many thanks, and kindest regards.
