I need to know for a bit of work that I'm doing....
How do you call somebody (as an insult) a/an....
Trainspotter
Anorak
Saddo
in German?
I've never learnt them.

Cheers in advance if you know them!

Anorak, Saddo? Trainspotter in the techno context or in general?

Ist Sesselpfurzer ein geeigneter Ausdrueck fuer Jugendliche? Es hoert sich nicht so an.

I always considered that to be a (negative) term more closely associated with someone involved in bureaucracy, schlaftablette sounds better to me...

you are absolutely right there wheezer, "sessepfurzer" doesn't fit for teenagers (except they are working in a buro already).

Anorak comes from the coat that trainspotters usually wear whilst standing on the train station platform with a notepad.

Because the main stereotype of a trainspotter is that they are considered to be really boring and lonely people with poor hygiene and they never leave the house only to take numbers of trains and to buy top shelf magazines from the shop. ;)
