Reports coming in that the event Vogel is playing tonite, in the midst of the district of Gracia in Barcelona, may not happen.

Locals have been busying themselves all evening phoning police, local politicians and the media to object to the event taking place.

Apparantly the building, a car park, has never been used before for musical purposes. The locals are rather concerned.

It's going ahead. There was a lull for about an hour between 9.30 and 10.30pm local time which threw the locals off, they thought it was over - the media stood down - Barcelona TV had been enroute til this happened. Around 11pm - just now - things got a hell of a lot louder - but by that stage the nightly news had gone out, the media had been diverted elsewhere... and the locals were again peeved. Thrilling!
