mmmm, the first one was pretty ropey anyways, will probably watch it tho, as long as it doesn't suck as much as the hulk then it might be awright.

The best comic book adaptation i have seen recently has got to be Hellboy - both the X men films are pretty good too.
I dunno what it is?? comic book films never really live up to my expectations.
I would love someone to make a film of 'Watchmen' but it would have to be done by somone special to do it full justice. Im sure there was talk of it being made ages ago?

Script Spoiler! (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0409459/board/thread/11587145?d=11596823#11596823)
"In answer to your questions:
a) I got the screenplay on ebay of all places.
b) The ENTIRE pirate sub-story is gone. Gone, gone, gone. The newsvendor (and the comic-reading kid) are still in it. Very little though.
c) Silk Spectre is called Slingshot in this version because - now brace yourselves - in addition to being a kick ass, super-agile fighter, she has the ability to shoot "energy balls" from her fingers(!). It's described in the screenplay as she holds her fingers up as if making a peace sign, and a line of blue energy "connects" the two fingers. She then pulls back on this blue line of energy and releases a small blue ball of energy, like a slingshot. Seriously. According to the screenplay, it is a power given to her by Dr. Manhattan as a gift for her 18th birthday.
Aside from that bizarre (and unecessary, if you ask me) addition to the story, the screenplay is otherwise brilliant. "

My eye was mostly drawn to the fact it's being written by someone after he's finished his current movie based of a computer game, Spy-Hunter. I sense a great number of graves spinning all at once.
