this is not the usual topic.. but were all open minded...and it is a point of strong concern.. i want to know if anybody still finds acid to buy.. it hasnt been around here for ages.. and some close friends in the goa trance scene also told me that entire globe is dry from the famous blotter-paper ( u only get in drops )..


so it it extinct? is it a dying artform? it's funny when u think of it.. cause look at the amount of E's u could find around.. like 8 different types at once.. even the effects are being split up.. and certian pills do certain things..

mmm acid. a drug I sometimes wish I had never met. I havent tripped in like 3 or 4 years. I dont look for it, and it doesnt look for me. I havent heard of anyone using recently. it does seem to have dissapeared. E has totally taken over which I find funny in that the quality of the pills have dropped greatly. I havent rolled in a few years as well but before I stopped I remembered thinking that the pills of today were real shitty in comparison to the ones I got back in the mid 90's.
I dont know, I am just fine pulling a tube and chilling out with a nice beer and some jazz, or maybe techno if I am in the mood.

Acid is still around....my system just doesn't handle it well anymore. I'd have to say however, that it was one of the best things I ever let myself do. Talk about a twist on your perceptions...

i heard thru tha grapevine that the main producer of acid in san francisco apparently decided to finish producing trips and did'nt hand on his art /buisness to a likely successor..thus a world wide shortage of quality lsd. but i hear that it is slowly getting back to normal. i'm friendly wif sum goa kids too and they never seem to have a shortage of psychedelix. DMT is very popular here also.

personally i wouldnt touch it with a bargepole but i went to the big chill this weekend and loads of our mates were doing acid - admittedly it was in liquid form but isnt that supposed to be nicer?
i agree on the artform factor, it would be a terrible shame if that stopped

You used to be able to get anything you wanted here in Liverpool for the past 10 years, but acid is now quite hard to find. And I'm pretty glad of it too, spent way too long with my head up my arse most weekends. We always used to love it when it was in liquid form cos the shit you get on the blotters makes your internal organs moan and whinge while you're on it.

The best thing that I've tried (nearly every weekend for a good few months) which was like tripping but without the '12 hour no sleep nastiness' you tend to get is ketamine.

What a fucking laugh that stuff is !!.... (at home though, deffo not in a club situation)

But that's not around these parts much anymore either... and again, probably a good thing ....

Oh erm, everything in moderation, drugs are for losers, blah fucking blah....

I reckon the "dancing" experience becoming more mainstream/commercial has a lot to do with it. Taking acid in a field at a free party is probably less likely to cause a scary experience than going on the tube to a club with bouncers and uv lit toilets etc. I also saw acid around at the big chill - but I wasn't taking it - even somewhere relatively safe like that. Don't wish to relive the "please make it stop" feeling I've had a couple of times. However music sounds the absolute best (or worst) on acid - whatever feeling you have for the music is so enhanced lol

that is too true... lemme tell ya all this little story.
my bro is quite a fucked up type.. hard to explain.. trouble running after him.. and him happly welcoming it.. well he got this really old VW beetle for a really low price ( 50 quid ).. it was in driving condition.. had a little old 70's tapedeck... well to make a long story short.. me ,him and a close friend , we had dropped a tab earlier on in the night and it got heaver thru the night.. well it started raining badly on our way home.. we were still off our faces and ended up in the car.. it stopped wouldnt start.. and luckily my bro hd nicked the tape from my walkman.. which i didnt know... well, u know music and ego's and exagerantion of acid.. well it was certainly the best ambient-laidback-deckchair fucked up tape we had all ever heard.. shit we were amazed.. this tape was blessing from god for our comdown.. it sounded perfect.. like techno angels electronic singing gospel was the description we gave it... rain sopped, we came down.. left the beattle in the parcking lot and headed home...
well after a couple of days we went to pick up the beetle.. the tape was Niel Landstrumm vulgar Brown by August.. not ambient at fuckin all.. apperently the tape deck played tapes super slow constaint speed...

dunno, haven't been on the prowl for that kinda stuff recently, but "the main producer in san fran has stopped and didn't pass on the arts" is a load of bullcrap... some friends of mine had a large trip event some 2-3 weeks ago and they had like 3 to 4 different kinds of tabs I heard... I've never come across the liquid stuff though. MUX why don't you try ordering some shrooms or mescaline via mail? if they pack it smart (in coffee) and inconspicuously, it should go through...

haven't touched the stuff in a long time but i always found liquid to be the best. and it is true, if you want to find something that fucks you up, you can find it in Oregon. see, hippies can be good for something! once was at a party and by circumstance ate more than the recommended dosage of sugarcubes and heard Landstrumms 'Inhabit the Machines' on a hugh system and saw what the track looked like. fucking incredible! looking in the mirror, now i know why my hair is going grey.

hmm afaik to smoke salvia properly you need a vaporizer to heat it to the right temperature....

speaking of vaporizing, I had the opportunity to try 5meo-dmt 2 summers ago, and that shit is WHACK hehe - basically one whole acid trip compressed into 10 minutes...
