What a bummer! Just looked at the time schedule of the Pukkelpop-festival and, suprise, suprise, both are playing at the same time...
Why oh why? Anyone seen Jane's Addiction recently?

Perry Ferrell has been doing the celebrity dj circuit here...along with Rosanna Arquette and Wesley Snipes (not all at the same time mind you). Perry spins house, Wes spins R&B, hip hop & reggae...but I've no clue what miss Arquette plays.

Hey,

The problem is only getting bigger!
I guess I'm going to blast my nostalgic youth memories, see what all these drugs did to Perry and hope the Super_Collider gig the day after will be the best concert ever.
Or maybe Christian and Jamie just have to take over the main stage in riot style and start an electroclash in a sort of Run DMC/Aerosmith way. Let's hope Farrell has hired a few decadent lapdancers!
Start the rehearsel guys, just a few hours to go!

just woke up from a muddy weekend at Belgiums PukkelPop and i still do think that mr Lidells gig was one of the best live-thinks ive ever seen (not only at PukkelPop)

I expected much more from Super Collider, was a bit of disapointment. I missed the intimide atmosphere of a small tent that SC deserves, the sound was not very well and i missed the experimental parts. The guitarplayers didnt add much to the elements of show and sound.

Same thing for the set of Apx and Luke Vibert. Somebody seen the complete gig?

jamie arrived after they were supposed to play and so they didnt soundcheck or set up with him at all which is why the set wasnt that good.

its a bass guitar and it does add to the show, its a fucking awesome set when there arent 5 million problems - festivals are a nightmare for bands that mix electronics and instruments as there are no set up times and with S_C we always ahve to get 5 people from 4 different locations for the right time, most of the time its fine and this time it wasnt

It wasn't that bad at all, certainly not if you know that Jamie arrived 10 minutes before the concert started and they didn't soundcheck.
I guess the audience liked the show, even the national press did good reviews of the gig.

Check out the interview they did afterwards:
