Word - Get goosebumps everytime i hear this track - its all in the bleeps!!

A good mate of mine who is one of the original Old Skool Mc's (more noted for his work with Bukem now) said Jeromes mix nearly reduced him to tears - which made me laugh.

Nice work Jerome!! ;)

10 years ago I could never figure out what the end of that sample said and it frustrated me no end.
And I still can't figure it out and it's bugging me all over again.

Anybody, what does it say ? "Never try the hippodrome, I'd rather.....?". What? I'd rather what ?

Patrick
7th October 2004, 10:25
Oh, and great mix. Thanks

I always thought it said 'rather chuck a tin can'. But who knows? The best ones are the ones you can't quite hear.

Yeah, we kind of settled on "rather take a tin can" even if it didn't make much sense. Unless it's a reference to smoking crack, which would make sense. Most people would rather smoke crack than go to the Hippodrome.

7th October 2004, 19:46
With you on that one, although i'd route for "rather Shake a tin can" - either way it's nonsense though

I know this is a bit past it's sell by date as a topic but I just wanted to say this:

This morning I was feeling pretty hacked off for various reasons.
Got to work and fired on the media player on Random.

On comes the OldSchool mix and 10 minutes later I'm bouncing about in my seat with a grin on my face and my workmates looking at me like I'm some sorta looney.

Thanks Jerome!
