There was this person i used to live with called Jake who used to call his dad Dave. I didn't think too much of it until last night when i called my dad Mike, which is his name. It's not right is it.

I remember when i came round and your dad had made you a wooden pack lunch box, it was pretty lush apart from the usb connection he put in so he could track your colon contents.

once again, giving parent's names here can be a key to a password retrieval for some sneaky fuck wanting to hack your accounts.

This is a thread about parent's first names, while security questions are almost always about mothers maiden names, so I doubt there's much danger here...

I also knew this guy who called his parents by their names, I always felt a lil' weird when he did that.
I always call my parents by mama and papa

My flatmate and his twin brother use their parent's first names but they had a weird hippy upbringing and rarely see either of their folks. I always called my parents mum and dad but both were teachers and my mum taught at my school. I had to address her as Mrs McCormack when i was there. Weirder than using a christian name I reckon.

I remember calling my dad by his first name once when I was little - it just wasn't the done thing! My brother calls my mum by her first name, and no one bats an eyelid...
