we heard on the grapevine that tresor 192 , my Dungeon Master EP , hits number 1 in the Groove Magazine DJ chart , upcoming issue.... Sept issue I guess.... personally I`m not sure if that means anything at all , but still its kinda something to be proud of I s`pose...

It’s definitely a thing to be proud of Cristian; it means that at least a few djs and record listeners in Germany appreciate your work.
I don’t know on which chart your Dungeon Master EP will be number 1.
There are two kinds of charts.
One is the Top50 and the other is the album chart, determined out of a pool of 150 German djs, which sends two charts to Groovemag. The first is the personal Top Ten of new tracks (Trend chart) and the second is the club chart, it contains the floor fillers of the last 4-6 weeks.
20 of the main record stores in Germany send their “sales chart” to Groove as well.

SubCulture is as magazine made from blind poeple... always walkin on the same place. they wrote in the last mag, that cristian dont called the album an LP, coz its a bit "different" as the albums before...and dedicated it to the schranz people...

i make 4/4 techno as well as alot of other kinds of music and am only known for "schranz" techno, because people don't listen to the b-sides of my records. barely starting my career and being pigeon holed because i like to play techno. fuck it.


that dungeon master record made me see vogel's work in a different light. i talked a lot of shit before, but i gotta say i have really started to respect the guy.


so vogel: you get yer props. i hope you make a couple of bucks and do well bro.


and to the shit talkers who say americans only make "loop" techno, i say, if female or circus or mills or claude or birken or esp or gunjack make a record that you think is too "minimal" or "loopy" - instead of complaining, make a record you think is better.


i always thought the phrase: "put up or shut up" was a cool one...

what i intended to ask (sorry for not making it clear) or better say to question is the layout of some records: track a1=bullshit/top ten for the masses, a2=same-same (quite often...), b1=the "freaky" shit or a questionable remake of a1, b2=nothing at all since 3 tracks are enaugh for us consumer idiots or (mostly) the "real" shit for advanced folks...(one track a record is NOT sufficient!) no offence btw...hope+guess your wax is different!
