I read a news story yeterday about some some guy who claims to have posbily developed an equation which predicates the pattern of prime numbers which would in theory reneder the current RSA cryptography method vunerable ot attack which would be fun.

that indeed would be both a breakthrough and scary. without rsa and prime number based encryption there is no protection of materials electronically.
