I heard that there is talk of them doing a follow-up (not quite a sequel), 'From Dusk Till Shaun'.

I need to watch it again I think. I watched it a few weeks ago but I had been up for three days and I didn't find it very funny.

excellent product placement for Si Begg in that film, too, as previously discussed.

I watched this last night and, having expected it to be no more than adequate, was pleasantly surprised. Although it was just like watching a feature-length episode of Spaced, which is no bad thing.

I downloaded it last month and watched it a good 5-6 times over the course of a weekend.

Not entirely, I have spent, at various times: a week watching Robocop; a week watching Animal House; a week watching Shag...I could go on, but why make myself look even sadder.

a week watching Robocop? that is sad :)
i truly loved that film but i could never have spent a week watching it. lately i've been working on Robocop the game so I never want to see the film again at this point in time...
on the other hand - a week's steady viewing of Animal House should be compulsary.

I think the major reason for being able ot watch the film five times in a row was the fact that I had been on a 24 hour drinking binge in Edinburgh larging it up and got home and just wanted to crawl into bed and watch shit. Seeing as how I've only got 1gb of drive space for media files I'm a bit lacking in what to do in such circumstances (aaprt from now where I've got two season of Stargate, 22 episodes at 20mb each) so I end up repeatadly watching the same thing.
Also if you watch it a few times you start to notice there are a lot of bits in the film where something which happens earlier happens again but in a slightly different context which was just really uberly well done.

"You just fucked with the wrong guy, pal." It's pure class!
It was when I stayed with my dad for a week, it was pretty the much the only video he had at the time and he was out at work all day, so...
To be honest, I probably would have done it anyway. I do get these intense fad grooves where I keep reading the same book/watching the same film/eating the same thing over and over. I had a two-month period in my teens where I literally ate nothing but peanut butter on toast and spaghetti with tinned veggie bolognese sauce.

"nice shootin' son, what's your name?"
"murphy."
its a classy film, no doubt. but still, a week. A WEEK :) after that i'd be walking about like i had arthritis, eating nothing but baby food and trying to do that twirly finger thing with my gun all the time (i don't really have a gun).
my compulsiuons tend to be more spread out. e.g. i'll watch high fidelity every sunday for 6 months or read the same book maybe 4 times in a decade.
i once wore the same jumper for a week. does that count? :illin:

I went through a big movie watching boom the last time i came back to america and there was a point when i just had certain movies playing the tv in the background all through the day instead of listening to tunes, but i think the high point was watching "Ameile" 4 times in 24 hours. not intentionally, it just happened to be playing everywhere i went that day.

The flip side of that being, I was forced to endure 'Ernest Saves Christmas' while horrendously sick with the d'n'v blues in Mexico, due to the only other available channels being black and white westerns dubbed into Spanish, 24 hour news, and Bible belt evangelism.

Mine too. The full picture was: I was 14, on holiday with my greatly-disliked grandad, as an attempt to help me cope with my mum's sudden death a few months before; I got really sick and had to sit through ESC many times whilst hallucinating wildly due to fever, and in the final stroke of hellishness my grandad read my diary while I was sick.
