This will indeed be wicked. Saw Ceephax at Bang Face (the name of the night) 2 months ago and he was really good. Very silly indeed (acid cover version of the can-can, anyone?). Mike Dred also played. Missed the last one where Dred did a Universal Indicator live PA, was gutted as several people said it was the best live set they'd ever heard!!!

It's a proper mini-rave in a tunnel-like venue, downstairs at Trafik. Full silliness abound.

I went to the last one - it's got a proper rave atmosphere, despite being in Twat Central.
Mike Dred did indeed play one of the best live sets I've ever heard -up there with Plastikman at TG95. (Mike himself said it was the best set he'd ever done)
I only had a few ales and I was dancing so hard I was sweating cobs in no time, as you can see from the photos.
Shame I can't make it to this one.

Which i must admit is true. and ive done a lot of 2ci. Acid has never made me feel nice in any way - just fucked with my head. With 2ci you get both.

I don't know about 2ci but I've done a fair bit of 2cb, and that definitely had an E-like effect of giving me rushes and making dancing very pleasurable. I also found it significantly less headfucking than acid, even when I was administered a pretty battering dose by an over-keen 'psychonaut' - for a while i was getting really panicky because it made me hallucinate mental geometric patterns to the point where i actually couldn't see where i was going, then suddenly i realised that i was actually totally capable of holding together a conversation / train of thought, and my reasoning / sense of self / control were no more affected than i would be by a couple of joints.
