hey, so some mates and i have been throwing various theme parties and i really need to come up with a name for our crew. i can't think of names to save my life.

here are some of our parties:

crash my birthday - a kid's bday party invaded by 20 something year
olds. magician, dancing lion, balloon animals, etc. with a techno
soundtrack

footloose - screening of the film followed by a night of guilty
pleasure music (with mp3 download station, so we can take requests) choreographed dancers, and general party silliness.

bonfire night - stateside celebration of the UK holiday.
fireworks on the roof; crisps, lager, and british music / people /
videos in the flat. (i have british friends who get homesick then, so we decided just to throw a party).

the main thing that my parties go for is never growing up, and always having a sense of humor about themselves. any ideas guys? thanks

what about

jukka's party - a group of people get together to drink a lot of jaegermeister and take pills, then talk a lot, dance stupidly, and fall over?

"(stinking) foreskinners" or just "foreskinners" would be a good choice imo (yes, i got inspired (is that the right word??)) by another topic on this boat erm board.

in brighton there was a good crew of people who did parties with themes like space, wedding reception, etc who were called

Margot's Parties

margot being margot from 'the good life' sitcom i presume - it was a kitschy 70s idea, i think the first one they did was a 70s suburban theme

i like that - on a similar vein you could call yourselves Abigail's Parties after the Mike Leigh film / play of the same name. in the film abigail wasnt featured she was actually the daughter of the uptight one who was having a party next door.

There were some parties, I think in London, in the mid-90s, called "Disobey". Never went to any of them, but I really liked that name.

a party celebrating our dismal little culture for the benefit of homesick limeys is just about the sweetest thing i've ever heard.

i've just read a late eighties article by PJ o Rourke about the music scene in Warsaw- and interestingly- there was a Joy Division (orig. called Warsaw) - esque band called "Garage in Leeds" these things fascinate me.

how about Burberry Salt n' Shake Mob
