i have a mate who has a couple of them EMS's things, look like battle ships (they the one youz is talking about init?)

Yeah he has two of them, different models. I think one is in a leather fold out case and one is in a bauege (cant spell that, off-brown/creamish, heheh)

Well he pisses me of cause he collects all these old synths and does nothing with them, he cant even wire up his studio on his own.

he has the lot:

Prophet 5, Juputer 8 & 6, MiniMoog, MS-20 & 10, Osca, MonoPoly, Roland model 100(I think its called, modular anyway), another very rare modular by Digitec (I think is the name of it), er what else, loads more I cant remember.

anyway he pisses me off, loads of synths, No music, He wont sell, but when he does you can bet your arse it would be top dolla, ie the same price as Music Control only without a guarantee

haha, MATE, yeah right, the only reason he knows me is to try and con my synths of me or to sell me something for loads of dosh. prob stop working soon as you get it home too.

So beware, if youre dealing with a guy called Ian from Dorset.

wow....I'm loving the 'suitcase synths'! They should do more of that now...
Wouldn't it be fun to stide into a club in a suit & glasses, carrying a briefcase that opened up into a portable live PA tool?

Slick, i say...

Yep - I`ve done exactly that and it does feel pretty damn slick

Its fun at airports too - one time at Milan , they stop me after the xray and say - what is that? (pointing at the briefcase)

i open it at they look puzzled and say = "What *is* that?"

lol

..What´s that?

It´s my guitarcase!

What´s in it?

My GUITAR!

Open it up...open it up..quick..come on!

(man opens the case)
....like I said, it´s my guitar!

(Desperado)

hehe, could have been the situation in Milan? When changing the word "guitar" with synth.?

lol
